Melchiorre grew up as the oldest of eight children born to a Sardinian shepherd. Being a shepherd he has the wisdom of ‘il mondo pastorale’ (the pastoral world). He is an expert in the art of butchery, cultivating Fruit and Vegetables, bee-keeping, olive oil production and cooking.
